BEAT SYMPOSIUM 2026
Saturday 20th June saw the coming together of STRØM soundsystem and a line-up of heavy duty jungle / dnb slingers from Copenhagen and the UK. The summer sun was cooking, with the newly upgraded outdoor space at Poolen ready for a day of stomping from Copenhagen headz. Luckily Boni’s burger landed to fuel the crowd with delux patties - big up Boni.
Music kicked off with a 2hr warm-up from bon ronny & DRØZE; more dubbed out and half-time selections to get things moving, ready for Mbizo who would take over with some moody dubwise-jungle style. Blears followed with plenty of old-school tributes and some minimal wobbed out drum and bass, handing over to N.E.GIRL and Mary Harp who really got things moving with a non-stop, pure junglist B2B. Amen. Over to headline set from Digital (UK, Function Records, Metalheadz) who really slammed in for the closing 2hrs, as the day transformed into an evening session and the space really came alive with an impressive light and smoke-show. Blackeye (UK, Rupture, AKO Beatz) added magic to this set, with his iconic and unforgettable MC vocal style. At closing the crowd were of course left wanting more, but would have to wait until Beat Symposium returns again in 2027.
